5 Mexican Excursions To Get Your Blood Pumpin’!

Hola, Amigos/Amigas!

One place I can’t get enough of is Mexico. The food, the culture, the beaches and the adventure are all things I cherish in a vacation. And Mexico has it all!
I sometimes want to fit as many heart pounding excursions in a 7-day vacation as humanly possible. Let me tell you this: Mexico does’t disappoint.
I want to share with you 5 excursions to add to your next vacation to Mexico. Strap in, because you WON’T want to miss this!
  1. Xcaret Park: If you’re looking for an action-packed theme park you definitely want to visit Xcaret Park in Playa del Carmen. Over 50 activities to choose from, Xcaret will leave even the seasoned thrill seeker wanting more. Underwater rafting to navigating the jungle in your very own amphibious vehicle, adventure is waiting at every corner. The very best part of Xcaret park is that you can stay at their all-inclusive resort and receive unlimited access to the park with your stay. How cool is that!
  2. Ziplining: Outfitted in ziplining gear you don’t want to miss the opportunity to scream at the top of your lungs while hurling over Puerto Vallarta’s tree line. Take videos and pictures of your flight session so that you can relive the moments when your return home.
  3. Snorkeling/Scuba diving: Some of the BEST snorkeling you can do is not far from the US mainland in the Cozumel area of Mexico. There you’ll have the world’s second largest barrier reef, the Mesoamerican Reef, to check out.
  4. ATV riding is must do activity while vacationing in Mexico. Cozumel is a great opportunity for cruise goers who are looking to experience Mexico in a short amount of time. Visit a Mayan village, take a ride through the dense jungle or even take a spin on the beach. You’ll have a blast from this unique viewpoint. Cabo is one of my favorite places to do an ATV excursion.
  5. Swimming in the Cenotes: Visiting the Yucatan Peninsula? Then exploring one of the many cenotes and underground caves is a must. Go for a swim in the clear blue water while exploring the natural beauty of nature. Explore the Mayans sacred spots, that they once believed was a gateway to the afterlife. Instagram-worthy photo opportunity!
  6. A swimming hole in a cave with a single light source coming from the hole in the cave roof
