You've Got Something Worth Celebrating.

Planning a milestone trip shouldn't feel like homework.

You've been Googling for weeks. You have 47 browser tabs open. You've seen the same "Top 10 Resorts" list on four different websites. You still don't know which cabin category is actually worth it, which cruise line fits your group, or whether that all-inclusive in Cancún looks better in photos than real life.

Meanwhile, this trip is for your honeymoon. Your parents' 50th anniversary. Your mom's 80th birthday. Your family who hasn't been together in years.

This trip deserves more than your best guess. That's where TJ comes in.

Is Adventure Book Travel right for you?

Find out before you reach out — because the best client relationships start with honest expectations on both sides.

✓ You're in the right place if...

You're celebrating something — honeymoon, anniversary, birthday, retirement, reunion, or "we just need to get away"
You're planning a cruise or destination trip to Alaska, Caribbean, Europe, Hawaii, or Mexico
You want someone else to handle the details — and trust them to get it right
You value quality over the cheapest price available

✗ This might not be the right fit if...

You're primarily looking for the lowest price available
You prefer to research, compare, and book everything yourself
You need to travel in the next 2–4 weeks
You're not ready to share your full budget and expectations
Not every travel advisor is right for every traveler — and that's okay. But if you saw yourself in the first column, keep reading.

I plan every trip like I'm going with you. (I won't. But I kind of am.)

There's a version of me that's all business — certifications, credentials, years of expertise, a track record of trips that clients call "the best we've ever taken."

And then there's the version that shows up on vacation: the one who turns a family dinner into a dance party, who cries happy tears when a client sends a photo from their honeymoon suite, who genuinely believes that getting out of your zip code makes you a better, kinder, more connected human being.

Both versions show up for every client I work with. I'm detail-obsessed in the way your best friend who happens to be a travel expert would be. I'll tell you which balcony cabin has the obstructed view. I'll tell you when the "romantic" restaurant has a 45-minute wait and suggest a better one.

Getting away isn't a luxury. It's maintenance. And I'm here to make sure yours is worth every moment of anticipation.

Your best vacation ever is three steps away.

The Process

01

Tell me everything.

Fill out a short trip planning form, then we'll schedule your complimentary consultation. This is where I ask the good questions — the ones booking sites will never ask.

02

Receive your custom proposal.

I do the research, make the calls, and put together a curated itinerary built around your group, your celebration, and your travel style. Not three generic options — your trip.

03

Show up and celebrate.

I handle the details from deposit to departure — and I'm available if anything comes up while you're there. Your only job is to enjoy it.

A note on process: A simple client agreement is required before your custom proposal is created — because your time is valuable, and so is mine. We'll walk through this together in your consultation.

What does a travel advisor do that I can't do myself?
A travel advisor saves you time, reduces risk, and often gets you better value through industry relationships and firsthand knowledge. TJ has sailed the ships, vetted the resorts, and built supplier relationships — so you get insider access without the research hours.
What destinations does Adventure Book Travel specialize in?
ABT specializes in Alaska, the Caribbean, Europe, Hawaii, and Mexico — on land and on the waterways (river and ocean cruises).
Do you work with clients outside of Florida?
Yes. ABT serves clients nationwide. TJ is based in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, but the majority of her clients are across the U.S., with roots in Indiana.
Does Adventure Book Travel charge a planning fee?
ABT operates on a client agreement model. After your complimentary consultation, a simple client agreement is signed before your custom proposal is created. Details are covered in your consultation.
How far in advance should I start planning my milestone trip?
For most milestone trips — especially cruises, group travel, and peak-season departures — 6–18 months in advance is ideal. The earlier you start, the better your cabin selection, pricing, and availability.
What types of trips does ABT specialize in?
ABT specializes in milestone celebration travel — honeymoons, anniversaries, milestone birthdays, retirement trips, family reunions, and group travel. Approximately 65% of trips are cruises (ocean and river), with the remainder being land-based destination celebrations.
